Pigment in San Diego has a gorgeous installation of Wallys in their store. A nice variety of plants are used, with some cascading over the pockets. Clearly they have an eye for natural elements in modern settings.

If you want to go a more dramatic route, you can look into Woolly Pockets which have larger pockets for planting bigger plants like ferns and begonias (Image #3).
