Fargo Looking Woolly

Roof Meadow

Marigold's Guard The Garden
Woolly Pocket(s): Woolly Meadow brown
Soil: mixture of old soil from pots already on the roof, 3 cubic feet of Whitney Farms premium potting soil, 3 cubic feet of organic compost mix, perlite to help keep the dirt fluffy and reduce the weight of the planter some.
Plants: We planted 1 black pear tomato, 2 Italian large leaf basil, 2 lemon cucumber to climb over the edge of the pocket, 2 red Rubin Basil, 1 Stupice tomato, 2 small volunteer woolly thyme plants, and a border of marigolds which are supposed to help repel slugs and to add some color to the roof. We picked the plants because they are known to grow well together. Some plants will actually repel each other if they are planted near each other (Laurel knows more about this, she picked the plants)
